Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The prominent urologist and educator, laureate of "Glory", the director of the Urology department of the Azerbaijan Medical University, correspondent member of ANAS Sudeyif Imamverdiyev has been awarded the personal scholarship of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for his contribution to the socio-political life of our country.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on November 18, 2017.

Note that, Sudeyif Imamverdiyev was born in 1938 in Astara. In 1956 entered Azerbaijan Medical Institute named after N.Narimanov. As a result of his initiative and efforts, in 1975 he opened the Urology Hospital at Azerbaijan Medical University and scientist began working as a head of the same department since 1990.

S. Imamverdiyev has offered 13 inventions and rationalization proposals for improvement of surgical operations so far. In 2001, he was elected as a corresponding member of ANAS.
