Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Director of ANAS Institute of the History of Science, Doctor of History Maryam Seidbeyli  was on a business trip in Rome, Italy on January 31 - February 5, 2018.

As part of the trip, the scientist took part in seminars on the history of science in Azerbaijan and lectures on political sociology, held at the University of Rome, La Sapienza.

During the events M.Seidbayli spoke about the history of science in our country, the reforms and achievements in this field. She brought to the attention of the participants of the event the relevant Order of the Head of State on the declaration of 2018 as the Year of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic and told about scientific research in this direction.

Within the framework of the visit, M.Seidbeyli met with professor of Rome University La Sapienza Daniel Pomier Vinselli, a well-known anthropologist, Professor Luigi Maria Solivetti and other prominent scientists. Sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest and discussed prospects for cooperation.
