A cooperation agreement was signed between ANAS Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry and the Lankaran State University (LSU).
The document was signed by Acting Rector of Leningrad State University, Professor Natig Ibragimov and Director of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry, corresponding member of ANAS Alovsat Guliev.
The agreement aims to improve the quality of training specialists in the Lankaran State University, as well as to study the current state of land in the Lankaran economic region. According to the document, the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry will assist LSU in preparing a soil map in the mountain, foothill, alluvial-hydromorphic territories, as well as studying the current state, the quality of irrigation water and their impact on irrigated areas in the region.
Agreement, envisaged for a period of 5 years.
