Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Exhibition reflecting activity of ANAS institute and organizations was organized at annual general assembly of ANAS. Exhibition was attended by head of Presidential Administration acad. Ramiz Mehdiyev, active and corresponding members of ANAS, delegates of the institute and organizations.

Acad. Ramiz Mehdiyev, ANAS president acad. Akif Alizadeh, academician-secretary of ANAS corresponding member Rasim Alguliyev and other guests accompanying them closely got familiar with exhibition reflecting activity of ANAS Nakhchivan Branch, including scientific paper, book, journal and booklets covering history, ethnography, archaeology, literature, folklore, bioresources, natural sources of Nakhchivan.

Noted that the existing network locating in Batabat Astrophysical Observatory has been reconstructed web portal has been updated and electronic library was given into operation. President of ANAS Nakhchivan Branch, academician Ismail Hajiyev provided detailed information about the published book such as “Nakhchivan Encyclopedia”, “Historical Atlas of Nakhchivan”, “Chronicle of Nakhchivan theater”, “Nakhchivan folklore anthology”, monographs by department employees, and winner grant projects. Noted that, 89 monographs, 141 books, 14 teaching aids, 4619 articles, 150 abstracts, 18 maps have been published and department employees have won 9 grant projects during activity year.
