Rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages, academician Kamal Abdullayev delivered a lecture on "Heydar Aliyev and national and spiritual values" at the secondary school No 295 in Nardaran settlement on September 15.

Congratulating the teachers and pupils on the occasion of the new school year, K.Abdulla gave them detailed information on the role of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the strengthening of Azerbaijani state, the essence of the Azerbaijani ideology, the preservation of our national values, multicultural traditions and tolerance in our country. It was noted that one of the areas where the national leader paid great attention to the time of the Azerbaijani state was the preservation of the national spiritual values of our people and their delivery to future generations.

It was noted that, the great leader Heydar Aliyev has looked at the national and spiritual values of our people from different perspectives and demonstrated a special political will in every direction. This is especially about our language, literature, culture, religion, history, statehood and traditions.

It was noted that approaching the Azerbaijani language from Shah Ismail's position to the level of the state language, constant attention to the writers and present representatives of our literature and culture, their constant attention to the people, state care to our material and spiritual cultural monuments, to the history of our statehood, especially the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, the proclamation of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic as a successor of the modern Azerbaijan, and etc. is the principal position put forward by the great leader in the preservation of the national moral values of our people. This tradition is being continued by President Ilham Aliyev with dignity and honor.
