Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The delegation headed by the chairman of ANAS Nakhchivan Division, academician Ismail Hajiyev visited the Nakhchivan State Historical Museum.

Visitors were informed about the activities of the cultural institution. It was noted that, after the restoration of state independence of Azerbaijan, the museum foundation the fund has been significantly enriched.

It was noted that, among protected exhibits are archeological excavations which carried out in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the material and cultural samples, archeological excavations, various types of labor instruments, Paleolithic and Neolithic objects, stone hammers, carpet weaving, jewelry, copper, pottery and paintings, including national costumes, artistic embroidery patterns and other exhibits. Also research works, exhibitions, meetings, conferences, round tables, actions for education are held here.

In conclusion, the guests familiarized with the exposition halls of the museum and took a photo for memory.
