Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Known that, commemorative events on a national scale in connection with the 220th anniversary of the eminent writer, poet and thinker Mirza Shafi Vazeh have been held. As part of events, series of studies have conducted in the field of publications of new works associated with scientific research heritage of this esteemed personality. In connection with the anniversary M.Sh.Vazeh, article by Elnur Hasanov PhD student of Ganja Department ANAS on “Österreichische Zeitschrift für Geistes und Sozialwissenschaften” was published in German on the influential international edition of the Austrian magazine.

This article has reflected important historical and ethnographic facts and still unexplored scientific facts about life and work of this outstanding personality for the first time. Also, article provides information arousing interest on research of Vazeh’s heritage in Europe.
