Director of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, chairman of Scientific Publishing Board of ANAS, correspondent member of the Academy Misir Mardanov met with responsible secretaries of scientific journals published in the Divisions of Physics, Mathematics and Technical Sciences (DPMTS).

During the meeting M.Mardanov announced the results of surveys of the journals published in the divisions's offices.

The scientist emphasized the importance of publishing the journals in English, as well as the need to obtain the ISNN serial number in international standards separately for print and online versions. He also touched upon the seriousness of the journals 's periodicity and the importance of its editorial staff in the international arena.

Speaking about the scientific findings for the published materials, Mardanov said that the rules for submitting articles to the ballot papers and the period of elimination of deficiencies should be reflected on the journals 's website.

The scholar also emphasized that the full bibliographic information in English for each article, including the title of the article, the list of authors and their place of work, annotation of material and keywords, literature list, as well as contact details of the journals and the publishing legal address , as well as the archives on the web site.
