Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Director of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, academician Mukhtar Imanov has given a lecture on "Azerbaijani anecdotes" to the teachers and students of the Philology Faculty of Baku State University.

The theoretical views of the academician Mukhtar Imanov about the issues of folk laughter culture, folklore severity, and poetics of Azerbaijani anecdotes were met with great interest and caused great discussion.

It should be noted that such reports play an important role in the future development of students in the field of education, as well as the expansion of scientific cooperation between ANAS and higher education institutions.
