Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Deputy director of ANAS Institute of Philosophy and Law PhD in philosophy Roida Rzayeva attends “Women in science and technology” in Izmir (Turkey).

Conference organized by Asian Academies of Sciences and Societies Association, Turkish Academy of Sciences, World Network of Academies of Science, University of the Aegean, R. Rzayeva delivered a lecture on “Postmodern: woman issue”.

Compared with Western countries, in 1918 for the first time in whole world women had been given the right to elect and be elected in Azerbaijan.

Working in different areas, the percentage of women in the labor force, the lecturer pointed out that these figures are increasing day by day. She specially noted activity of First Lady of Azerbaijan, MP, president of Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Friends of Azerbaijani Culture Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mehriban Aliyeva.
