Consul General of the Republic of Turkey to Ganja, Zeki Ozturk visited Ganja Division of ANAS.

Head of the Division, academician Fuad Aliyev met the guest, spoke about the friendly relations between 2 states, after came to power Heydar Aliyev and noted that, today the policy of the national leader is successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.

Scientist noted the role of the ADR in the liberation of our country from the Bolshevik-Dashnak invaders in 1918, and also said that, Ganja Division published 5 monographs devoted to the 3-month ADR rule in Ganja. Academician said that, Turkey is the 1st state to recognize the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, and the independent state of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the guest was informed about the activities and scientific achievements of the Division and were held discussions on the study of the ancient archaeological and ethnographic heritage of Ganja, the archives of the city and the implementation of new projects with Turkish scientists.

In conclusion, Z.Ozturk thanked for the warm welcome and got acquainted with a number of laboratories of the institution.
