New archaeological materials were found in Aghdam

During excavations in the vicinity “Palidli” necropolis in Mirashalli village locating nears the front line of Aghdam.

According to the head of Karabakh expedition of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography prof. Hidayat Jafarov, researches have been commenced in necropolis since 2009. 22 graves 22 graves have been opened in the necropolis so far.  a large quantity of pottery, tombs, narrow-necked pots, pitchers, glass, churn, decorative items were found in the graves belonging to BC XII-XI centuries.
