Department Head of the Institute of Economy, correspondent member of ANAS Akif Musayev made a lecture on "Modern Problems of Economic Science" at Odlar Yurdu University within "Science Month".

A.Musayev talked about contemporary issues of economics, changing macroeconomic indicators, hidden economy in the world and problems caused by it, faster growth of the financial sector from the real sector, higher share of services in GDP in developed countries than material production, measurement and accounting of digital economy, the relationship between the macroeconomic indicators in terms of uncertainty and the assessment of the tax burden.

Discussions were held around the report and questions were answered.

In the end, correspondent member of ANAS A.Musayev has been elected "Honorary Doctor" of Odlar Yurdu University. The rector of the University, Professor Ahmed Valiyev presented an honorary diploma to the scientist.
