Consul General of Turkey to Nakhchivan Mehmet Emin Kiraz visited the ANAS Nakhchivan Division. 

During the meeting, the Department chair, academician Ismail Hajiyev spoke about the tasks arising from the Order of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov dated October 29, 2018 "On the study and study of the heritage of the eminent scientist Naimatullah Nakhchivani".

It was noted that, the next issue of a collection of articles published annually in the framework of the project "Fate and Art" is dedicated to Naimatullah Nakhchivani. A number of his works have been translated and prepared for release. It was also told about the international conference on "Outstanding Azerbaijani Thinker: Naimatullah Nakhchivani" which will be hold on June 5-7, 2019.

Consul General congratulated on awarding of the book "Nakhchivan in the history of the statehood of Azerbaijan". He said that, the publication will be translated into Turkish by the Turkish Historical Society. Then, the guest presented an electronic version of 12 manuscripts keept in the Turkey libraries.

Director of the Institute of History, Ethnography and Archeology, corresponding member of ANAS Fakhradin Safarli, Director of the Institute of Art, Language and Literature, ANAS corresponding member Abulfaz Guliyev stressed the significance of participation in scientific research.

Books by Naimatullah Nakhchivani were donated to the guest. In turn, Consul General presented the book “Nakhchivan in the documents of the Ottoman archives”.
