Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Head of Material Physics Department of the Poland National Center for Nuclear Research (NCNR) Yachek Yagyelsky and head of the Materials Research Laboratory, Lukas Kurpaska, visited the Institute of Physics of ANAS.

During the meeting with the director of the Institute, academician Nazim Mammadov informed guests about the main activities of the enterprise and important scientific results achieved there.

In addition, the sides exchanged views on the development of scientific relations between the two countries.

Later, the officials of the Center got acquainted with the Innovation Sector of the Institute of Physics and received information about modern devices installed there.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs, Academician Javad Abdinov, Director of the Institute of Biophysics, Corresponding Member of ANAS Oktay Gasimov, Director of Radiation Problems Institute, corresponding member of ANAS Ogtay Samadov and others.
