The next meeting of the Scientific Council on the problems of soil and water resources management and environmental protection of ANAS Scientific Research Coordination Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held.

During the meeting, Doctor of Geological Sciences, Professor Rza Mahmudov delivered a report on “March 22 - World Water Day”. The main objectives of the “World Water Day” are to promote the adoption of appropriate measures to solve the problem of supplying the population with drinking water and to inform the public about the importance of protecting and preserving fresh water resources and water resources in general.

Further, the topics of dissertation papers submitted to the Scientific Council were discussed.
