Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory and the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University a regular event held event dedicated to March 27 - “Science Day”.

Director of the observatory, corresponding member of ANAS Namig Jalilov, who opened the event, noted that, the Order of President Ilham Aliyev on the establishment of “Science Day” in the country dated April 9, 2018 was met with great respect among the scientific community. Such events will play an important role in raising the interest of young people in science and its further development.

Further, Director of the Shamakhi Division of the University, Ph.D. in Philology, associate professor Tunzala Yusifova told about the attention shown to science in our country.

During the event, reports were heard, information on the activities of the observatory was given.
