Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

In accordance with the decisions of the collegium of the Higher Attestation Commission and the Presidium of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences all doctoral students and PhD students of republic are trained in the specialty in “computer science“ at ANAS Institute of Information Technology, which also carries out doctoral examinations.

Co-authors of “Training researchers in computer science. Statistical review” book are Academician-Secretary of ANAS, Director of ANAS Institute of Information Technology, academician Rasim Alguliyev, head of the Educational Innovation Center, Doctor of Technical Sciences Rasmiya Mahmudova and chief specialist of the Center Kamala Gurbanova.

Statistical review, published by the publishing house "Information Technologies", was based on analytical processing of the database, which collected the necessary information about doctoral students and scholarships of scientific and educational institutions of the republic, who passed the exams in "Computer Science" at the institute in 2003-2018.

It should be noted that, the information presented in the collection can be used to make effective decisions in the field of organization and management of science, as well as to analyze and evaluate the state of training of scientific personnel in the country.
