The first meeting of the Working group of ANAS Institute of Polymer Materials composed of director of the institute corresponding member of ANAS prof. Akif Azizov, deputy director for scientific affairs Dr. chemistry Valeh Jafarov, corresponding member of ANAS prof. Yavuz Rustamov, prof. Najaf Gahramanov, PhD in chemistry Tahir Alkhazov, director consultant of “Azerikimya” Production Union Firudin Mustafayev and others was held.

Problems related to the pyrolysis device, extraction of film-forming, high-octane additions to the production of petrol, using polymer resin as a binder for road bitumen, capsulation of natural urea, usage of limuna polyethylene coating which allow for quick increase and growth of the plants etc. were discussed in the meeting.

It was noted that, along with “Ethylene-Polyethylene” plant, polypropylene, urea, methanol-based industries will be established in the region as well.
