Dean of the Journalism Faculty of the Baku State University, Associate Professor Vugar Zifaroghlu passed a training seminar on "Public Relations (PR) and Media" for the staff of the Central Scientific Library of the ANAS and Journalism Faculty of the Higher School.

Speaking at the event, director of the CSL, Ph.D. Leyla Imanova said that the training seminar was held within the framework of the agreement signed with the Faculty of Journalism in 2018. She emphasized the importance of building public relations, media organization more professionally, saying that the library is an information making and sharing company.

Vugar Zifahoglu gave detailed information on media and public relations, press releases and rules of interviewing, management of the enterprise in crisis situations, the behavior of responsible persons in "PR" and so on. He emphasized the importance of public relations and the importance of transmitting information about the company's activities to the media, saying that more than 500 definitions were given to the PR concept in the world.

During an interactive exercise, the participants gave their questions and suggestions and voiced their views on the subject. At the end of the two-day event certificates were given to the participants of the training.

In the future, both organizations will hold joint training and seminars.
