Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Seminar on "Practical and Methodological Foundations of Modern Geographical Sciences" was held at the Institute of Geography named after H.Aliyev for secondary school № 232 of Surakhani district.

Director of the institute, academician Ramiz Mammadov said that the seminar has become a tradition and that such meetings serve to increase the interest in science in young people and that they can play a positive role in future career choices.

Also during the seminar doctor in geography Rena Beyim Gashgay, doctor in geography Zakir Eminov, doctor in geography Habil Hagverdiyev and doctor in geography Samira Alekperova made speeches.

Next, Elina Kerimova and Etibar Badalov made a presentation on the theme “Mud volcanoes of Azerbaijan”.
