Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Presidium of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences set for ANAS institutes such tasks as integration into world science, modern scientific directions, as well as the promotion of interdisciplinary research.

To achieve these goals, “Mathematical Biology” group was created at the Center for Applied Zoology at the Institute of Zoology. As a result of the work of the researchers the article on “Mathematical model of competition for space among spider” was published by the journal “Mathematical Modeling”.
