The next "Interactive open lesson" for Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic students was held in Nakhchivan Division of ANAS.

The head of the Department of Onomastics of the Institute of Arts, Language and Literature of the Division, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor Firudin Rzayev spoke about the topic"Archaisms in Azerbaijani language" in the open lesson. According to the scientist, the lexicon of the Azerbaijani language, covering a period of eight thousand years, has passed a long history evolution. He noted that archaism came to the present time in written chronicles, books of foreign travelers, art literature, geographical names, ethnographic information archives and other similar sources.

It should be noted that the open lesson was observed in more than 200 general schools of the Autonomous Republic.
