At the Institute of Caucasian Studies of ANAS a roundtable on "Issues of introducing Heydar Aliyev and Imadeddin Nasimi's heritage" was held.

The event was opened by the director of the enterprise, correspondent member of ANAS Musa Gasimli and noted that the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev on the proclamation of the “Year of Nasimi” in 2019 on the occasion of the 650th anniversary of the great Azerbaijani poet Imadeddin Nasimi is a significant event in the socio-cultural life of our people.

M.Gasimli also spoke about the visit of national leader Heydar Aliyev to Syria.

Later on, Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs of the Institute, Ph.D. in history Ramila Dadashova, Ph.D. in philosophy Vahid Omarov, Ph.D. in history Qasım Hajiyev and Ph.D. in economics Liliya Mirzazade spoke about works written about Imadeddin Nasimi and his ideas about hurufism.
