The book on "Comparative morphology of Turkic languages" was published by the head of the Department of Modern Azerbaijani Language of ANAS Institute of Linguistics after Nasimi, Doctor of Philology, Professor Ismail Kazimov.

The editor of the publication is Professor Ismail Mammadli, the reviewers are professors Mehman Musayev and Fikrat Khaligov.

The composition of modern Turkic languages was compared, common and distinctive features between words and grammatical categories were revealed. Unlike traditional morphology, the book describes the functional and semantic categories.

The manual is intended for teachers and students of higher educational institutions, undergraduates, doctoral students, researchers and a wide range of readers.
