A monograph “In light of comparative studies” by the chief researcher of ANAS Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi, Doctor in Philology Aida Feyzullaeva in Russian was published.

The scientific editor of the monograph is Vice-president of ANAS, Director of the Institute of Literature, academician Isa Habibbayli, reviewers are Doctor in Philology Sara Osmanli and Ph.D. in Philology Javida Mammadov.

The book tells on the scientific activities of the Honored Scientist, Doctor in Philology M.Gojayev, as well as the author's research related to classical Russian literature, especially the works by Fyodor Dostoyevsky in the context of Russian and world literature.

In addition, the works by literary critic D.Merejkovski and V.Veresaev “Living Life” are brought to the study. At the same time, the influence of oriental decadence on the life and work of symbolist poet K.Balmont and poet and prose writer V.Khlebnikov has been studied.
