Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The book "The history of the Khanates' political heritage in the light of documents" by head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev was published in Moscow.

The publication has been prepared by the Azerbaijan State Translation Centre.

The book also reveals some of the darkest aspects of ancient Khanates, one of the most painful and sensitive stages of Azerbaijan's history, hidden from the historiography, and explores a number of dark points that have led to serious scientific controversies, historical facts and archival documents.

The book was translated into Russian by Pusta Akhundova, the author of comments and notes on the texts is PhD in Political Science Eldar Amirov, translator of archival documents from the Persian language, Deputy Director of ANAS Institute of Caucasian Studies Shahin Yahyaev, editors are Nadia Gafarova and Farrukh Rzayev.

The book is aimed both for professional historians and readers, interested in the history of Azerbaijan.
