Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Pasha Kerimov, a deputy director of the ANAS Institute of Manuscripts, Doctor of Philology, acquired a copy of the 13th-century Azerbaijani poet Ali, “Gissei-Yusif” poem stored in the Rare Book Fund of Moscow State University.

This manuscript, which was ignored until recently, was rewritten from an older manuscript in 1832 in St. Petersburg. A copy that is more advanced than other copies of the poem contains 5028 lines.
