Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Institute of Information Technology of ANAS has held a meeting with the fourth year students of the Moscow branch of the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov on the specialty "Applied mathematics" and currently carrying out scientific researches in the institute. Students will be trained in departments 2, 9 and 16 of the Institute from 02.09.2019 to 14.09.2019.

Scientific secretary of the institute Madina Saidova, heads of departments – corresponding members of ANAS - Ramiz Aliguliyev, Masuma Mammadova, PhD in Technical sciences, associate professor Yadigar Imamverdiyev, PhD in Technical sciences, associate professor Farhad Yusifov, Gulnara Nabibayova, chairman of Young Scientists and Specialists Council Narmin Adigozalova and heads of scientific-practice were attended at the meeting.

In advance, M. Saidova welcomed the participants on behalf of the Vice-President of ANAS, director of the Institute, academician Rasim Aliguliyev. He said that the institute conducts scientific researches in various areas of information technologies and information society, and provides high-level IT training.

In his speech, G.Nabibayova noted that she was a member of the State Examination Commission in the direction of “Mathematics and Computer Science” of Baku branch of the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov. According to him, the students, who are assigned to the Institute No 16 carry out researches in the realm of web technologies, their scientific-theoretical problems, creation and classification of websites.

Further, heads of scientific researches Y. Imamverdiyev, chief engineer of department 9, PhD in Technical sciences, associate professor Shafagat Mahmudova, chief specialist of department 9, Tamilla Bayramova, leading researcher of institute, PhD in Technical sciences, associate professor Ludmila Sukhostat, provided information on the research and experience gained by students in the areas of oil and gas industry, machine learning, hydraulic systems monitoring, software engineering and software.

Finally, students’ questions were responded, M.Mammadova and F.Yusifov wished them success in their future activities, noting the possibility of future employment of students at the institute.
