The book “Operations Research and Econometric Problem Solving in MS EXCEL and EVIEWS Software Packages: Theory and Practice” by Tabriz Yadigarov, Senior Researcher, Department of Globalization and International Economy Relations of ANAS Institute of Economy was published.

The scientific editor of the book, published by the decision of the Institute Academic Council is ANAS correspondent member Akif Musayev, reviewers are Doctors of Economy, Professors Yadulla Hasanli and Yashar Kalbiyev.

The book describes the construction of economic and mathematical models, by using various methods and technologies for solving them in MS Excel, EViews software packages.

The publication explained operations from a theoretical point of view, including linear programming, their solution by the simplex method, transport and interindustry balance, construction and evaluation of communication equations between indicators of the economic system and their solutions in MS Excel.

The new publication is intended for teaching of Econometrics, Economic Informatics, Statistics, Customs statistics and information technology at universities, conducting research on economy, as well as for researchers and a wide range of readers.
