Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

ANAS Institute of Biophysics held a scientific seminar on “Editing the CRISPR Gene and Prospects for the Future” on October 18, 2019.

The seminar was opened by Deputy Director for Biophysics of ANAS Institute of Biology, Doctor of Biological Sciences Karim Gasimov, who emphasized the relevance of the topic and then, gave the floor to Professor from the Medical University Zanjan Said Kaboli.

In his speech, Professor informed on CRISPR genes, its importance, history, editing, universality and the role of biotechnology in human life.

At the end of the seminar, was held a discussion on topic.
