Science Development Foundation (NGF) under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan has announced the results of 5th “Grant mobility” this year which covers participation in scientific events and short-term practical training abroad.

During the competition, five consultative workshops were organized by the Foundation to help grant applicants. As a result of the examination 23 projects submitted to the competition, two projects are not passed the stage of technical expertise, and 21 projects approved for stage of scientific expertise.

The winners were announced three projects on physical-mathematical and technical sciences, one - on chemical sciences, one - Earth Sciences, three - for biological, medical and agricultural sciences, and six - in the humanities and social sciences.

Winners of the competition will participate in research activities and the short passage of practice in the United States, Turkey, Albania, Italy, Russian Federation, Spain, Hungary and Kazakhstan.

The purpose of the competitions on the “Grant mobility” is to support the development of science in Azerbaijan, promoting the passage of scientists practice and participate in activities abroad, creating conditions for the development of international scientific relations and the further strengthening of the scientific personnel potential of the country.
