Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Institute of Geology and Geophysics of ANAS (IGG) and Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry (ASOIU) signed a memorandum of understanding. The document was signed by the director of IGG academician Akif Alizadeh and rector of ASOIU Professor Mustafa Babanli.

The memorandum includes joint research in areas of mutual interest in geological science, publication of articles and implementation of staff training, use of material - technical and human resources of both enterprises in this field, creation of basic departments or branches of existing chairs.

The document also provides for the organization of joint scientific conferences and symposiums, monographs, textbooks and teaching materials in relevant scientific areas, as well as other issues.

Note that the memorandum will be valid for 5 years.
