On December 9, in the Electronic Assembly hall of the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS took place a presentation of the famous writer, publicist and screenwriter Huseynbala Miralamov's tale “Last jounrey”.

Representatives from Russia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and the Institute of Literature attended the event.

The presentation was made by the vice-president of ANAS, director of the Institute of Literature, academician Isa Habibbayli and spoke about the position of the great thinker Imaddaddin Nasimi in the history of Azerbaijani literature. He noted that within the "Year of Nasimi" the institutes and organizations of ANAS published 25 books dedicated to the creative activity of the great poet, 12 of them were prepared by the staff of the Institute of Literature. Monograph "Imadaddin Nasimi, the great Azerbaijani poet," including the books of Professor Gazanfar Pashayev "Imadaddin Nasimi: life after execution" and "Iraqi Divan", Doctor of philological sciences Farida Azizova "Imaddaddin Nasimi in Medieval Sources and Literary Studies" published in Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages are precious scientific publications, he said.

Speaking about the systematic research and promotion of Nasimi heritage in the country on the initiative of national leader Heydar Aliyev, I. Habibbayli said that great attention was paid to the great thinker during his rule in the country, a film was shot devoted his philosophy and Institute of Linguistics was named after him.

According to I. Habibbayli, “Last journey” by celebrate writer Huseynbala Miralamov is one of the most important publications in Nasimi this year. The publication is just as important as the first brilliant artistic example of a new historical phase related to Nasimi.

According to the scientist, Nasimi was presented to his readers as a simple and wise man with a rich spirituality with love and hatred. The writer wrote about Nasimi's life and activity, not the era of hurufism martyrdom, but the stage of living a simple and perfect human life.

Academician I. Habibbayli described the author's tale "Last journey" as a new initiative for Nasimi's ideological and aesthetic stance. He added that the writer portrays poet-thinker Nasimi in this narrative as more than a natural and real human being, above all, the ideal man, created in the literature of the second half of the 20th century.

He said that the event was a part of the II International Scientific Conference "O Nasimi, your word conquered the world …", adding that the work was a valuable contribution to the Azerbaijani publishing.

Then Professor Islam Garibli delivered a lecture on "Last journey by Huseynbala Miralamov” and Professor Salida Sharifova on "Imadaddin Nasimi on the last journey”.

The event was attended by Chairman of the Labor and Social Policy Committee of the Milli Majlis Hadi Rajabli, an employee of the Institute of Literature, Language and Folklore of the Academy of Science of Uzbekistan, PhD. Erkash Ochilov, Associate Professor of Tajikistan State Institute of Languages, Doctor of Philology Rukhshona Vasiyeva and others who shared their opinions about the tale.

Finally, author of the tale Huseynbala Miralamov expressed his gratitude to event attendees.
