Science Development Fund under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan held a meeting with the winners of the competition for the 5th “Grant mobility”. During the meeting, recommendations were made for the preparation of the relevant documents for collection management, legal registration and funding of grant projects, the optimal solution for financial and accounting matters, and also discussed the terms of the contracts to be concluded between the Fund for the Development of Science and project managers. Foundation Executive Director Elchin Babayev confidently said that the winners of this competition, providing personnel training, properly represent our country abroad, establish new scientific communication and will successfully apply their knowledge and experience in their scientific work.

At the meeting was also announced a competition for the 6th “Grant mobility”, providing for participation in scientific events and short-term training abroad from January 12 to May 30 next year.

The total funding for this grant is 100 thousand manat.

Note that from the 6th “Grant mobility” Science Development Foundation introduces new conditions for grant applicants mobility: now requires the written consent of the head of the institution where the applicant works, an invitation to participate in the forums and internships should be directed to the Fund, and to participate in events held in countries outside the Russian language area, and Turkey should provide a document certifying proficiency in English. If the document is not submitted, the Fund may hold an oral interview. Applications for participation in the competition are accepted from 22 September to 22 October. Results will be announced in November.
