Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Baku will host the first Congress of Azerbaijani Scientists’ on 19 December this year.

The meeting, organized by the Presidium of ANAS, president of ANAS Akif Alizadeh told on action plan of the Congress and noted that the action plan included the following issues: the establishment of a working group, the establishment of the Editorial Board and the Secretariat of the Congress, moreover, the collection of reports of scientists, who will perform at event, and the preparation of the book, “Proceedings of the first Congress of Azerbaijani Scientists’” and others.

It was noted that the purpose of the organization of the Congress at the national level will be made an official appeal the country's leadership. The conference will be attended by Azerbaijani scientists from around the world, as well as representatives of the scientific and educational institutions of Azerbaijan. The congress will be organized with the support of the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Communications and High Tech.
