Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

ANAS Central Scientific Library (CSL) was donated Torah, translated from the original into Azerbaijani for the first time by Teymur Sadigov, a leading scientist of the Institute of Oriental Studies named after academician Ziya Bunyadov.

The preface was written by Professor Nasrulla Mammadov, Professor of Oriental Studies at Baku State University (BSU) and the late academician Vasim Mammadaliyev. The book's advisor is Avraam Abraham Yakubov, Rabbi of the Religious Community of the Mountain Jews of Azerbaijan, a reviewer is a techer from Faculty of Oriental Studies at BSU associate professor Gulnara Abdullayeva, and the editor is Professor Nasrulla Mammadov.

The Torah, which translation began in 2014 and completed in 2019, is currently stored in the Rare Book Fund of CSL.
