Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS has held a presentation of a bulk of articles, publishing in Greece dubbed “Establishment of Institutions and Research under External Impact. Europe and the Black Sea Region in the early XIX century - early XX century”.

Yakovos Mikhailidis, editor of the publication, professor of Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece, also attended the event.

Presentation ceremony was opened by the chief department of the IAE, national contact point of Azerbaijan for “Horizon 2020 Program” Ph.D. History Zaur Hasanov, who informed the attendees on the book. The bulk of articles contains the materials of the II International Conference “Establishment of Institutions and Research under External Impact. Europe and the Black Sea Region in the early XIX century - early XX century” financed by Horizon 2020 in Thessaloniki in 2018. Azerbaijani scientists’ articles in English was also included in the bulk, he stated.

In turn, Y.Mailailidis said that projects implemented under the European Commission's "Horizon 2020" Maria Skladovskaya Curie set the stage for scientific exchange and cooperation between Azerbaijan and EU countries.
