Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

The Knowledge Fund under the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic has published a book entitled "Zangazur National Park named after Academician Hasan Aliyev."

Employees of the Institute of Bioresources of the Nakhchivan Division of ANAS closely attended in preparation of chapters II, III, and IV.

The new edition contains information on the orography, geological and geomorphological structure of the Zangazur National Park, its natural and climatic conditions, landscape, hydrology, recreational potential, phytocenology, the geographical distribution of rare plant species and invertebrates and necessary protective measures.

The book is a valuable source for ecologists, biologists and geographers, agricultural workers, as well as students and specialists involved in traditional medicine.
