A paper by Azerbaijani soil scientists, head of the laboratories of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry - academician Maharram Babayev, corresponding member of ANAS Amin Ismayilov, senior scientific staff of the institution - PhD in Agricultural sciences Fikrat Feyziev and Elton Mammadov “Predicting the amount of organic carbon in soil using near and infrared spectroscopy (on the example of the Kura-Araz lowland)” was published in the American journal “Communications in Soil Science and Plant Analysis”.

The paper is devoted to the study of the amount of organic carbon in soil, one of the most pressing problems of world soil science, using near and infrared spectroscopy.
