Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation has organized the exhibition titled “Empire and the Caucasus. Guns, uniforms, military traditions. XIX - early of XX century” at the All-Russian Museum of Decorative and Applied Arts. The exhibition features more than 600 exhibits from local and foreign museums, as well as from private collections.

Recently, the cognominal catalog, containing from exhibition photos was published. The catalog also contains materials from the collection of the National Museum of Azerbaijan History - photographs of exhibits of the Arms and Banners Fund and the Fine Materials Fund.

The editorial board expressed gratitude to the director of the museum Naila Valikhanli for scientific support in the preparation of the catalog.
