Philip Turek, Professor of the University of Strasbourg, Vazeh Asgarov, director of the Azerbaijan-French University (UAF) and the physics teacher of this enterprise Robin Merin visited the Institute of Physics of ANAS.

During the meeting with the director of the institute, academician Nazim Mammadov, the guests were informed about the condensed state physics, physical and technical bases of optoelectronics, nuclear physics, high energy physics and physical and technical problems of energy. The academician also spoke about international cooperation of the organization and emphasized the possibility of joint cooperation in the future.

In his turn, F. Asgarov stressed out the establishment of UAF in 2014 on the initiative of the Presidents of Azerbaijan and France, its commissioning since September 2016 and enrolling student admission in four specialties.

Then the guests were acquainted with the modern logistic base in the Innovation sector of the Institute of Physics.
