Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

The director of the Institute of Linguistics of ANAS after Nasimi, academician Mohsun Naghisoylu was on a business trip in Northern Macedonia.

During the visit, the scientist took part in the international conference “Representatives of Divan Literature” at the University of Saints Cyril and Methodius in Skopje. He delivered a lecture entitled “Fizuli’s Creativity and Its Place in the Turkic World” at the international event.

Academician M. Naghisoylu attended the memorial ceremony on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the Khojaly tragedy at the Vision International University in Gostivar. During the visit, a protocol on cooperation between the two organizations was signed. The agreement covers joint research in the field of linguistic research, the exchange of books and personnel, as well as the organization of meetings.
