Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

A fake account was opened in the name of the President of ANAS academician Ramiz Mehdiyev on Facebook and various shares were made, stated by Public Relations, Press and Information Department of the Presidium of ANAS.

The mentioned statement said that because the profile was fake, the sharing there, including photos of Mubariz Mansimov and calls for his release, did not reflect the truth.

"We bring to the attention of network users, as well as the entire Azerbaijani public, that the above mentioned is a falseness," the statement said.
