The Institute of Manuscripts named after Muhammad Fizuli of ANAS has reprinted the famous work “Tutiname”, translated into Persian by the author of the XIV century Ziyaeddin Nakhshabi.
Leading researcher of the Institute, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor Akram Bagirov translated the work from Persian into Azerbaijani.
Originally written in Old Indian, this work, consisting of legends, was intended to enlighten the Turkish-Mongolian princes of India and still retains its moral and didactic significance.
The work, translated on the basis of two manuscripts stored at the Institute of Manuscripts, contains an extensive “Preface” and comments.
