Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

In accordance with the Decree of the President of ANAS on September 8, 2014 with the financial support of the Science Foundation of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the conclusion of the “Contract of the Century” announced a competition for the purpose of rewarding young scientists of ANAS. The aim of the competition is to encourage young scientists who are actively involved in basic and applied research in the oil and gas and petrochemical fields.

The competition was attended by 27 young scientists with their achievements in the oil and gas and petrochemical fields. Examination and evaluation of the submitted scientific results was carried out by the Commission, established by order of the President of ANAS. In accordance with the results of the competition was decided to award 19 young scientists in three categories.

Category I two winners of the contest will be awarded a cash prize in the amount of 3,000 manat, category II 7 winners - 2000 manats, for category III 10 winners - 1000 manat.
