Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

With the joint organization of the departments of the Humanities and Social Sciences of ANAS, as well as the Institute of Philosophy, a scientific workshop will be held on topic "Philosophy in the period of a pandemic."

  The following issues will be discussed at the workshop:

- challenges of the pandemic period and tasks of science;

- responsible behavior and ethics during a pandemic;

- relevance of existentialism A. Camus and J.P. Sartre in modern conditions and humanism;

- a new ideological view of identity and universality;

- a new order after the pandemic.
