Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Announced the results of the competition held among young scientists of ANAS on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the “Contract of the Century”. The aim of the competition, held with the support of the Science Foundation of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic, was to stimulate research of young scientists who are actively involved in basic and applied research in the oil and gas and petrochemical fields, and to provide them with additional opportunities.

The competition was attended by 27 young scientists with their achievements in the oil and gas and petrochemical fields. Examination and evaluation of the submitted scientific results was carried out by the Commission, established by order of the President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh. In accordance with the results of the contest was decided to award 19 young scientists in three categories.

Category I two winners of the contest will be awarded a cash prize in the amount of 3,000 AzN, category II 7 winners - 2000 manats, for Category III 10 winners - 1000 manat.
