Scientists of the Institute of History of ANAS take part in online conferences and seminars.

The head Department, Doctor of Historical Sciences Irada Baghirova took part in the international online conference dubbed “Knowledge and ideological fronts. Europe and the Black Sea region after the Second World War." At a conference organized by Neofit Rilsky Southwestern University (Bulgaria), the scientist delivered a lecture entitled “Science in Azerbaijan at the Crossroads of Time (1989–1991)”.

Employees of the Institute of History, PhD in History Nigar Maxwell, Ilgar Niftaliyev and Nargiz Akhundova also participated in online conferences.

With the moderation of the director of the Guba memorial complex of the genocide Rakhshanda Bayramova and with the scientific support of the Institute of History, online seminars were held on the topics: “Genocides against Azerbaijanis in 1918” and “Multicultural Values ​​in Azerbaijan”. At the seminars, reports were made by scientists of a scientific institution, PhD in History Natig Mammadzadeh, Vagif Abishov, Irada Aliyeva and Narmina Amirbeyova.

In addition, work is underway on the book "The Historical Geography of Deportations, Ethnic Cleansing and the Crimes of Genocide Against the Azerbaijani People by the Armenians (1801-1994)." The project manager is the director of the Institute of History, academician Yagub Mahmudov, the authors of the book are Y. Mahmudov and PhD in History Sahiba Budagova.
