Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The textbook "Higher Mathematics" co-authored by the director of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, corresponding member of ANAS Misir Mardanov, head of the department of the institute, professor Ramiz Aslanov and associate professor of Baku State University (BSU) Sevda Isayeva has been published.

The textbook, published by “Tahsil” Publishing House, consists of ten chapters and three appendices. The publication covers the elements of linear mathematics, elements of algebra and analytic geometry, introduction to mathematical analysis, integral calculus, multivariate functions, complex numbers, ordinary differential equations, special derivative differential equations, probability theory and elements of mathematical statistics.

The textbook has been prepared in accordance with the curricula and programs of the Chemistry and Geography faculties of BSU. The aid can be used by students studying in other specialties of BSU, except for "Mathematics", as well as students and teachers of other universities.
